Spring Fair in Sweden

Our fair in Sweden was held in Magasin 36 in Höganäs; an old ceramic factory - also the place where we had the photo shoot for our Spring/Summer 2012 pictures of the new collection.

The atmosphere at Magasin 36 is amazing; so much life, creativity and coziness in the same place. Our new collection was presented in the old apartment - right next to the lovely Butiken and the nice café.

Great atmosphere, great people, great food, great music - and a great interest in the new collection.

Many thanks to all retailers, press members and bloggers who took the time to come visit us in Odense, Höganäs and Frankfurt.

Wow, it's been a fantastic beginning of 2012 for Tine K Home.

After a busy month with fairs in Denmark, Sweden, and Germany, we are now filled with sweet memories, lovely reunions, lots of ideas, inspiration and new retailers in different countries.

Second Sunday of Advent

Yesterday, my children and I spent the entire day at home. It was the second Sunday of Advent, and time for this year's confection. While the weather was very wintry, we had a fantastic time inside.

We made confection with marzipan and nougat from Summerbird, some with a chopped, dry fig inside - others with plain marzipan and shredded coconut on the top.

The Advent tradition is a time of preparation - and for me - a count-down to Christmas. My advent wreath this year is very simple.

As I often don't know where to place the wreath, I've found another solution this year; our new lantern in XL is easy to decorate with 4 candles and some pines - a few of them with glitter.

I love the way it lightens up the window in our dining room.

It's going to be 5 amazing days here in Odense. The huge Private Room is decorated with the entire collection, beautiful flowers and hundreds of lighted candles. The Christmas tree is decorated, and the music is playing; we have created an Autumn Atmosphere for you.
