Yesterday, my children and I spent the entire day at home. It was the second Sunday of Advent, and time for this year's confection. While the weather was very wintry, we had a fantastic time inside.
We made confection with marzipan and nougat from Summerbird, some with a chopped, dry fig inside - others with plain marzipan and shredded coconut on the top.
